I know Torri Hunter might be in his last days in Minnesota and I know the Rangers are looking to possibly move there first baseman Mark Teixeira who has 1/1/2 years left.
Why dont the Twins trade for him, gain a great bat and plug someone else into the outfield?

Mauer is on the disabled list with a left quad strain. He said he's improving each day but there is still no timetable for his return.
